As opposed to conventional swimming pools which maintain their waters by the use of added chlorine, muriatic acid and stabilizer, with the added use of a salt water system (which converts the salts to chlorine) or with the use of ozone, a natural swimming pool offers  a 100% chemical free alternative to conventional swimming pools .  An existing pool can also be converted to a natural pool with the addition of a friendly bacteria based filtering system.
